Stephanie Deckard

Paralegal Stephanie Deckard has more than 30 years experience in the legal field.

Ever since childhood, Ms. Deckard was interested in the law. She always enjoyed television programs and films that dealt with court, attorneys and trials, and when she entered high school, she knew she wanted a career in the law.

After graduation high school, Ms. Deckard enrolled in a legal secretary program. Shortly after graduation, she began a decade-long career as a legal secretary with a general law firm, where she worked on probate and bankruptcy cases.

Ms. Deckard chose to expand her education by attending the paralegal program at Coastline Community College where she obtained her paralegal Certificate. Once certified, Deckard worked in civil, bankruptcy, probate, corporate and family law. She has been on staff at Hughes & Sullivan since 2002.
