Fong Kang

Associate Attorney

Fong Kang is an associate attorney with Hughes & Sullivan. Ms. Kang grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended Van Nuys High School Performing Arts Magnet, where she was involved in dance and film production.

Ms. Kang graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and earned her J.D. from Whittier Law School. While there, she received a Business Law certificate and was involved in the Whittier Animal Legal Defense Fund and Whittier Public Interest Law Foundation.

Before joining Hughes & Sullivan, Ms. Kang was a law clerk in the economic crimes unit of the Orange County District Attorney's office. During her time there, she worked on a multi-million dollar medical insurance fraud case. She received recognition for her attention to detail, and set the standard for future law clerk hires in the unit.

Ms. Kang is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As a family law attorney, she works to provide her clients with the support and guidance they need to get through the tough times they face. "I strive to do my best because I want to see our clients happy," she said.

In her spare time, Ms. Kang enjoys photography, off-roading on her pink-seated ATV, and spending time with her husband and mischievous miniature schnauzer.
