Jason James Coleman

Associate Attorney

Jason James Coleman is an associate attorney with Hughes & Sullivan. Mr. Coleman grew up in Orange County, and received his B.A. from California State University Fullerton.

After finishing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Coleman obtained his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law, graduating Cum Laude, despite working full-time and being a member of the United States Navy Reserves. While at Whittier Law School, Mr. Coleman was placed on the Deans List and received numerous CALI awards for excellence. In addition, Mr. Coleman also externed for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office while finishing his J.D. degree.

Immediately after law school, Mr. Coleman obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from Chapman University School of Law School. While at Chapman, he obtained the highest grade, and additional CALI awards, in many of his tax classes. While completing his LL.M. degree, Mr. Coleman also externed for the United States Attorney's Office, Tax Division.

Mr. Coleman is a member of the Orange County Bar Association Family Law Section, Trusts and Estates Section, and Taxation Section. Mr. Coleman is also an active member of his community and church. He routinely volunteers his time and services.

Mr. Coleman enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis.
