Navid Moshtael

Navid Moshtael is an associate attorney with Hughes & Sullivan. Born and raised in Yaoundé, Cameroon, he came to the United States at age 14 with the objective of pursing a legal education.

Mr. Moshtael attended the University of Oregon on a four-year presidential scholarship, obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Moshtael was a certified law clerk for the Legal Aid Foundation, the Orange County Office of the District Attorney, the Law Offices of Kemp & Associates, and the Law Offices of Hawkins & Associates. As a law clerk, Mr. Moshtael gained experience in family law, real estate, bankruptcy, and criminal law matters.

Prior to joining Hughes & Sullivan, Mr. Moshtael was a research assistant and academic fellow at the Chapman University School of Law. Mr. Moshtael's experience as a research assistant accentuated his legal research and writing skills, while his experience as an academic fellow enabled him to deepen his knowledge of the law.

Throughout the course of his legal education, Mr. Moshtael developed a strong interest in the area of family law. "I understand that every client that comes to Hughes & Sullivan is going through a difficult time in their life," he said, "and I am committed to providing my best efforts to them and to help guide them through the legal process quickly and positively."

Mr. Moshtael is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and is fluent in French and Farsi. He enjoys traveling, watching movies, and playing tennis.
