Svapna Patel

Associate Attorney

Svapna Patel is an associate attorney with Hughes & Sullivan. Ms. Patel graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in Biology with an emphasis in Molecular and Cellular Biology. After graduating she began a career as a research associate at City of Hope where she conducted stem cell research on heart disease. After completing her project and presenting her findings at a National Convention Ms. Patel decided to attend law school.

At the University of La Verne College of Law Ms. Patel earned CALI awards in Healthcare Law/Policy and Administrative Law. She was awarded a certificate of scholarship from the Inland Empire Federal Bar Association. While in law school she also earned a position on Law Review as a staff writer and subsequently became an editor. She has published several articles in the Journal of Juvenile Law. Ms. Patel graduated magna cum laude and earned a scholarship and Key Award from the law fraternity, Delta Theta Phi for her excellent academic record.

Ms. Patel has gained valuable experience while working for the Alliance of Children’s Rights. Before joining Hughes & Sullivan she also worked at a Family Law firm in San Bernardino County.

Ms. Patel enjoys spending time with her extended family and is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. She enjoys traveling and is an avid sports fan.

Mr. Coleman enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis.
