Paralegal

Christiaan Vasquez

Mr. Vasquez is a paralegal with Hughes & Sullivan. He was raised and educated in Lima, Peru, and came to the United States with the objective of continuing his legal education and pursuing his credentials to practice law in the near future.

Mr. Vasquez earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He also earned his Juris Doctor degree from Inca Garcilazo de la Vega University, School of Law and Political Sciences, in Lima, Peru, where he is an attorney. Mr. Vasquez was a certified law clerk for Lima's Superior Family Law Court and Legal Aid Foundation. He also worked as a pro bono counsel for Lima's Superior Court Public Defender's Office.

His extensive legal experience includes family law, civil litigation, and personal injury law. Before joining Hughes & Sullivan, Mr. Vasquez worked as a litigation paralegal for firms in both North Carolina and Florida.

In addition to English, Mr. Vasquez is fluent in Spanish and takes an active role in maintaining a connection with his culture and its traditions. His strong family values motivate him to ensure that not only is he active in the Peruvian/Hispanic community, but that his family is also immersed in their Hispanic heritage.

Said Mr. Vasquez, "The decisions that clients face at this time in their lives go to the core of what matters in life:  children, family, and relationships. Helping others face these critical issues brings out my best qualities:  logic, compassion, and sympathy. In fact, I'm blessed to be able to work at a job that I love and where I know that I am truly making a positive difference in people's lives."

In his free time, Mr. Vasquez enjoys reading, traveling, and playing soccer and tennis, and especially enjoys quality time with his wife and daughter.
