Domestic violence strikes families at all levels of American society. It is a crime that affects men as well as women, and unfortunately, children. Managing partner Lisa Hughes spent four years serving on the board of the Family Violence Project, a non-profit organization providing training and assistance in the recognition and response to all types of family violence. Hughes and her colleagues possess the personal understanding and professional knowledge that enables them to effectively represent clients on either side of the case.

Our areas of expertise fall into two distinct categories:

• Survivors of domestic violence seeking orders of protection prosecution
• Individuals accused of a domestic violence crime in need of fair representation
